the lamphu tree house is nice, but not for me. I expectd a room upgrade since I was a frequent traveler! Instead, I was exhausted dragging my heavy luggage up the stairs! The pool situation was abysmal—only two loungers for the entire hotel, really? I almost gave this place a good review, but just couldn’t.

Should you try it? Yes or No
A great central location with excellent breakfast options and helpful staff made my stay enjoyable. The pool area was a refreshing retreat after busy days exploring the city.
The room was small and somewhat dated, lacking adequate space for towels and personal items. Shower pressure was disappointing, making for an awkward experience.

I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast options every morning and the peaceful atmosphere by the lovely pool area. It was great to unwind in the sun loungers after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, navigating to the hotel can be a bit tricky for first-timers. 😊

Great spot for a group getaway! The hotel's quiet vibe was perfect, and we loved chilling by the pool. In just a 5-minute walk, we hit Khao San Road, which is a blast for Songkran Water Festival. The area is walkable, making it easy to explore local cafes and bars nearby. Service was top-notch, and breakfast was enjoyable.
I did have a hiccup with the communication before arrival. It was frustrating not getting a timely reply to our room requests, which left us stressed on the day we checked in.

missingWrote a review on May 23clean corner roomhistoric areatree-lined streetconfusing location
The corner room in the original building boasts spotless cleanliness, providing a tranquil escape in the historic area. Within walking distance to Khao San Road, the tree-lined street offers a great ambiance and easy access to cafes and bars, with complimentary waters making the stay more convenient.
Figuring out the location can be a bit tricky for newcomers, especially with that narrow path under the bridge leading to the hotel, which can easily be missed. The shower lacks curtains, leaving water all over the bathroom floor—an annoyance for some, although it dries quickly. With no nearby metro station and the closest pier being a 15-minute trek in the heat, plan to rely on Grab or other transport options.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I was blown away by the tranquil pool area where I relaxed under the sun! The cleanliness of the room added to the peaceful atmosphere, making me want to extend my stay indefinitely.

Just a good pick for a rapid stop in Bangkok with excellent value for money. The hotel has free fruit every day, which was a nice surprise. For a better experience, try to walk to the nearby canal to catch a taxi there. it's much cheaper than getting a ride from the street.
